If you do something horribly wrong like move files around at random, then maybe you could disable your home menu from loading correctly, but even then you could boot into system recovery (google it) so there's no real danger. This just uses an exploit in the browser. Specific ExploitsĪs far as I know, you can't harm your 3DS or your gamecart installing OoT3Dhax as it only effects your cart's save file. It might freeze or refuse to boot, but there's no way to actually brick your console. Just like with HBL, you can't brick your 3DS by running Homebrew games/apps (with the exception of downgrading) unless you're really trying to.
